Get ready to shop local! Starting June 19th, join us every Friday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM through October at the Old Firehall (119 Main Street).
Rain or shine, it is the perfect spot to stock up on fresh goods. On beautiful days, the firehall bays will open right up onto Main Street for an open-air community vibe. If the weather takes a turn, the indoor space keeps everyone covered and dry. Come support local vendors and celebrate the harvest season right in the heart of downtown!

Glory Day
Join us in Mount Morris, the birthplace of Francis Bellamy who wrote the Pledge of Allegiance, to celebrate with a day of kids' activities, live music, food trucks, a parade down Main Street, and a patriotic fireworks display.

March 21st-22nd and March 28th-29th, from 10:00am-2:00pm. Fun for the whole family. Join us for a weekend full of maple activities! Continual demonstrations of three different maple sugaring techniques will be going on, including Haudenosaunee stone boiling, iron pot fire pit boiling, and the use of a modern evaporator. Hourly walks led by environmental educators will highlight maple tree identification, how to tap a tree, sap collecting and more! Pancake breakfasts will be available for purchase thanks to the Friends of Letchworth State Park from 10:00am-1:00pm each day.

Home Ecologists: Make Maple Syrup (Basic)
Find a sugar maple tree and make maple syrup! Home Ecologists is an outing series designed for homeschool students. Each topic is offered twice per month. Each outing is open to all ages with the first outing of the month targeting introductory level learning and the second outing targeting middle/higher level learning. Parents and caregivers can choose any or all programs that may pique the interest and learning levels of their budding ecologists! 0 miles.

Valentines Day Snowshoe Adventure at Letchworth State Park
Open to lovers of all kinds...of each other, of nature. This is an epic snowshoe through the part of the park that closes to cars, but stays open to hikers. Bring a warm beverage to stay cozy! If you would like to borrow snowshoes, please email Genesee.Education@parks.ny.gov. Meet at Archery Field Overlook. 3.5 miles.
